My name is Luca Vaccari. I’m an information engineering student and a musician (classical composer and guitarist) from Italy. I’m passionate about technology and I thing it should be used to improve society. I’m really annoyed by a minority using technology as a means for their own accumulation of wealth, to the detriment of people who are taken advantage of and manipulated.
I’m promote open source, free culture, sharing and collaboration. I’m believe the technology available to us is one of the most powerful tools for democratization and cultural divulgation in humanity’s history. I’m committed to ensure that it is used in en ethical way, condemning the malicious ones and praising the ones who follows my values.
I don’t use social networks that much and I don’t wanna share my email publicly (I could, one day, with appropriate security measures). If you want to contact me, you can do it on Mastodon or Pixelfed — link on the bottom of the page. I don’t guarantee to reply immediately.
I’m Italian and I write articles in Italian before translating them. If you’re Italian-speaking, I’d suggest switching the website to Italian for a better experience.
